Omar Qasemi arrived in the United States in December 2022, bringing with him a wealth of international experience and a deep commitment to public service and transformative leadership. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and offers over a decade of expertise in local governance, sustainable development, and national security.
Omar previously served as a Program Coordination Officer with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the U.S. Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Afghanistan. In these roles, he led key initiatives under the Climate Change Adaptation Project and the Community-Based Agriculture Project, empowering local communities and promoting long-term resilience. Additionally, Omar established Rangin Result Consultancy Company where he led and managed the development and implementation of multi-cloud solutions for internal customers and founded and led Chaos To Hope, a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on Education and provided services for Refugees, legal Immigrants, and Asylum seekers in Virginia and Colorado.
