Denver Children’s Advocacy Center

Denver Children’s Advocacy Center offers therapy and support to children ages 3-17 who have experienced trauma as a result of abuse, neglect, witnessing a crime, domestic violence, and immigration. Our services are at no charge to the family and are offered through victims’ compensation, Medicaid, or through pro bono services. If a family has private insurance, we will refer out to an organization that takes that insurance. Our therapists are bilingual in Spanish and English.

We also partner with organizations to offer conversations or trainings around abuse prevention, mental wellbeing, secondary trauma, trauma informed care, positive discipline and more in immigrant and refugee communities. When necessary we can sometimes offer support groups or processing spaces as well. Trainings and processing spaces costs vary based on budget, availability, and audience. Feel free to reach out if you have questions.
