Maryam Abdilah

Maryam Abdilah was born in Somalia and grew up in Syria. She lived in Turkey as a refugee before coming to the United States. She is passionate about writing stories with true-to-life messages and recently published her first book and working on the second. She graduated from the Community College of Denver with an Associate of Art Psychology (Fall 2020) and will graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Summer 2022. She plans on continuing towards a master’s degree in Psychology, graduating in 2025 and getting a Marriage/Family Therapy license.
