Masa Mando a Syrian refugee who moved to Jordan in 2012 due to the war. After years of waiting, she arrived in the U.S. as a refugee in 2023. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 2024 and is currently studying at the Community College of Aurora, working toward an Associate of Science degree. Her goal is to continue her education after graduation. Having moved around so much, she developed a passion for diversity and a curiosity to learn about new cultures. During her time in the U.S., she started using crochet and macrame bracelets as a way to fill her free time. Her goal is to be a voice for refugees and to support every young refugee going through a difficult time and trying to find their path.
