Naila Siradji | Democratic Republic of the Congo

Naila Siradji was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her journey has been shaped by resilience, hope, and determination. In 2015, she and her family left their home country due to safety concerns and moved to Uganda in search of a better future. It was there that she began her educational journey, an opportunity she had never fully experienced while living in Congo.

Life in Uganda taught Naila the value of perseverance and the importance of never giving up on her dreams. Then, in 2023, she and her family moved to the United States, where she was presented with even greater opportunities to grow, learn, and pursue the future she had always imagined for herself.

Naila loves to explore the world through learning and creativity. She enjoys reading books, writing poetry, and expressing her thoughts through words. One of her greatest dreams is to publish a collection of her own poems one day. She is also passionate about helping others through healthcare. Currently, she is studying in a pre-nursing program as she works toward her ultimate goal of becoming a doctor.

As a young immigrant, Naila carries many ambitions and dreams. Her experiences have taught her that challenges can become stepping stones to success when met with courage and determination. Through her journey, she hopes to inspire others by sharing what it means to overcome obstacles, embrace new opportunities, and never stop believing in yourself.

Her story is still being written, and she hopes that one day she will be able to give back by supporting young immigrants as they pursue their own dreams. She believes that every challenge has a purpose, every dream is worth chasing, and every person has the power to create a brighter future.
