Sahar Al-Nima

Even though Sahar was born in Iraq, she lived out most of her childhood in Syria at first, then in Kuwait. She was seventeen when she and her family finally moved to the United States. Sahar attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she earned a BA in Humanities with emphasis on Philosophy and Creative Writing. Now, Sahar is a Steering Committee member for the Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau, a writer, and a professional daydreamer.
