Svitlana Prystynska is a journalist, videographer, storyteller, and entrepreneur originally from Ukraine. She moved to the United States in 2017 and has built a career focused on media, community engagement, and cross-cultural storytelling.

Svitlana holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations and has more than a decade of experience in television and digital media. She worked as a television journalist, reporter, and host in Ukraine before continuing her media career in the United States. For six years, she contributed to Voice of America, covering stories that informed and connected audiences across cultures and communities. Today, Svitlana is the founder and owner of a Colorado-based video production company, where she helps small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations create engaging video content that highlights their mission and impact. Her work also includes documenting cultural and international events, including Ukrainian, Polish , Greek, and other multicultural festivals throughout Colorado. As an active member of Colorado’s immigrant and Ukrainian communities, Svitlana enjoys collaborating with organizations that promote cultural understanding, community connection, and civic engagement. Her unique background combines journalism, entrepreneurship, public speaking, and entertainment—having previously worked as a television host and performed stand-up comedy in Ukraine.

Through storytelling, Lana strives to amplify diverse voices, celebrate cultural heritage, and build bridges between communities.
